Ron "RJ" Nitke
Originally from Wisconsin, my family moved to the Tampa Bay Area before I was two years old, but returned to Wisconsin after a death in the family. I went to high school in Phoenix/Glendale, Arizona, then I joined the Air Force. After duty assignments in Alaska, Texas, MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Italy, then Georgia; I retired from the Air Force and returned to Tampa. My experience is expansive and includes all manner of fostering personal relationships. While on active duty, I earned Associates Degrees in Ecological Controls, Surgical Technology, and Human Resource Management. I also finished an online Bachelor of Management Degree through the University of Maryland. After retirement, I went to USF and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and started to work on my Master’s Degree in Public Health. Unfortunately, in my second semester, a brain tumor required me to postpone my education. After a successful surgery and short recovery I decided to return to public service rather than continue in academics. I worked for both the Hillsborough and Pasco County Sheriff’s Offices as a Child Protective Investigator for over three years. While that job was very necessary and noble, I decided I wanted to serve the community in another way. I obtained my real estate license and joined my wife, who was already enjoying a successful career as a Real Estate Agent. We work together as the Home Sweet Home Team, serving the Tampa Bay Area and surrounding counties for all your residential real estate needs.
